We all know what the classics are in children’s literature (athough there might be some discussion as to whether certain titles should be included, or not!) and within those classics each of us will have their favourites. But each family, especially, I think, one with children, have their own classics, their own favourites, those that mean something, those that might be linked to specific episodes in their lives. These are the books that I want to showcase here: the books that soothed my children, the books that made us cry, those that made us laugh, the ones that they love their father (rather than me) to read to them.
This is not going to be a regular feature, but they might creep up every so often. When ones does, you will know because this will appear at the end of the review:
And I would love to hear all about your family favourites, if you are willing to share them with us!
