This morning for our local children’s book group we read a couple Christmas stories, both with cats as main characters:
Mog gets scared of all the kafuffle happening in the house because of Christmas preparations and goes and hide on top of the chimney. Splat, however, is scared that he has not b een good enough and that Santa will not bring him the very big present he asked for. But don’t worry all ends well for the two kitties!
After stories, it was the turn of our Christmas Kitty craft. Children decorated a little Christmas Cat which was then attached to a little basket ready to go in the Christmas tree. Before they left each child got a little chocolate to put in their basket.
